Generation Lighting Driscoll Three Light Chandelier
The Driscoll Three Light Chandelier delivers the warmth of vintage industrial design with a refined silhouette that complements both traditional and transitional interiors. We crafted this fixture with clear seeded glass shades that catch and diffract light beautifully, creating ambient sparkle across your dining room or entryway.

Each clear seeded glass shade on the Generation Lighting Driscoll Three Light Chandelier features hand-applied texture that mimics antique blown glass. The tiny air bubbles and surface irregularities aren’t flaws—they’re deliberate design choices that scatter light in soft patterns across walls and ceilings.

Oil rubbed bronze finish & frame construction
We apply a multi-step oil rubbed bronze finish that reveals subtle copper undertones where the metal naturally wears over time. The steel frame uses solid welds at every joint, so the chandelier hangs level and stable even in high-traffic areas.
Frame geometry
The three arms radiate at 120-degree intervals from the central stem, creating symmetrical coverage without visual clutter. This spacing works particularly well over round or square dining tables where you want even illumination without shadows in the center.

Installation & ceiling compatibility
The Driscoll ships with 120 inches of chain and all necessary mounting hardware for standard junction boxes. You can shorten the chain to achieve the right hanging height for your room—we recommend 30 to 36 inches above a dining table surface, or 7 feet clearance in an entryway.
Sloped ceiling adapters are available separately if your installation requires angled mounting. The canopy measures 5 inches in diameter and covers most existing ceiling fixtures without patching or painting.

Questions about the Driscoll Three Light Chandelier
The Driscoll accepts any medium base (E26) bulb up to 100 watts per socket. We recommend 60-watt equivalent LED filament bulbs for authentic vintage styling, or standard A19 LED bulbs if you prefer a cleaner modern look. Choose dimmable bulbs if you plan to install a dimmer switch.
Warm white bulbs (2700K–3000K) complement the oil rubbed bronze finish, while daylight bulbs (5000K) create a brighter task-lighting effect suitable for kitchens or workspaces.
Hang the bottom of the chandelier 30 to 36 inches above your table surface for optimal lighting and headroom. For an 8-foot ceiling, this typically means shortening the chain to about 24 to 30 inches.
In entryways or hallways, maintain at least 7 feet of clearance from the floor to the bottom of the fixture. You can adjust the chain length by removing links before installation—save the extra chain in case you move the chandelier to a room with higher ceilings later.
The standard mounting hardware supports level ceilings only. For sloped or vaulted ceilings, you’ll need a separate sloped ceiling adapter kit that allows the chandelier to hang vertically while the canopy mounts flush against the angled surface.
The chandelier itself will hang straight down from the adapter—the chain naturally finds plumb. Most adapters accommodate slopes up to 45 degrees and are available through lighting retailers or directly from Generation Lighting.
The Driscoll’s 20-inch diameter suits rectangular tables from 48 to 72 inches long and round tables up to 60 inches in diameter. As a general rule, your chandelier should be one-half to two-thirds the width of your table.
For tables longer than 72 inches, consider installing two Driscoll chandeliers spaced evenly, or choose a larger fixture like the Generation Lighting Belton which spans 26 inches.
The multi-layer bronze finish is durable for normal residential use, though the natural patina may develop slight variations over time—this is characteristic of oil rubbed bronze and adds to the vintage aesthetic. Avoid abrasive cleaners when dusting.
If you prefer a finish that maintains a uniform appearance indefinitely, consider the Driscoll in brushed nickel or aged iron, which show less variation as they age.
No, bulbs are sold separately so you can choose the style, brightness, and color temperature that best fits your space. The fixture accepts three medium base bulbs up to 100 watts each.
We recommend purchasing bulbs at the same time as the chandelier to ensure you have everything needed for installation.
The Driscoll is UL-listed for dry locations only—indoor rooms with normal humidity levels like dining rooms, entryways, and bedrooms. It’s not rated for damp locations such as bathrooms, covered porches, or outdoor areas where moisture or temperature fluctuations occur.
For wet or damp locations, look for Generation Lighting fixtures specifically labeled as damp-rated or wet-rated.
